Exciting Expansion at Hotel@Franschhoek!

We’re pleased to share the latest updates on the significant expansion underway at Hotel@Franschhoek. This expansion, which will form part of a greater development including the renowned Hey Joe Brewery, is set to enhance the hospitality offerings and create a top-notch destination for visitors.

Project Summary: The Hotel@Franschhoek expansion includes the addition of new hotel accommodations, seamlessly integrating with existing facilities to offer a comprehensive experience of leisure, wellness, and industry.

Existing Facilities:

  • Restaurant: 465m² of spacious dining offering gourmet meals.
  • Brewery Area: 1,215m² industrial space crafting famous brews.
  • Wellness Centre and Accommodation: Two floors, with 1,146m² on the ground floor and 826m² on the first floor, offering eight luxurious rooms.
  • Shed: 80m² utility space for operational needs.

New Development: Introducing a modern hotel with 57 new rooms across multiple blocks as part of the Hotel@Franschhoek expansion:

  • Block A1 & A2: Each 315m² with 6 rooms.
  • Block B: 219m² with 4 rooms.
  • Blocks C1, C2, C3: Each 326m², with 7 rooms each.
  • Block D1 (Ground Floor & First Floor): 326m² and 320m² respectively, each with 5 rooms.
  • Block D2 (Ground Floor & First Floor): 226m² and 320m² respectively, each with 5 rooms.
  • Block E (Ground Floor & First Floor): Each 320m², with 6 rooms each.

Total New Area: 3,236m², bringing the total number of rooms to 69.

Grand Total Area: The combined area of the existing and new developments is now 6,968m², transforming Hotel@Franschhoek into a premier destination for both leisure and business travelers.
