Overview

The Belle Ombre Depot is a flagship facility within the A Re Yeng Bus Rapid Transit system. With capacity for 114 buses, it serves as a major operations hub, combining administrative, maintenance, and service-provision functions in one integrated depot.

Design Goals & Approach

  • High capacity & operational efficiency: The depot is sized to house over 100 buses, facilitating fleet storage, maintenance, and dispatch in a streamlined layout.
  • Cleaner energy infrastructure: Equipped for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling to support more sustainable bus operations.
  • Administrative functionality: The facility includes a dedicated administration block to coordinate operations, scheduling, and support services.
  • Safety, security & access control: The depot is managed with controlled access, security screening, and measures to ensure safe operations.
